The authorized officer may suspend the certificate of registration of such vehicle for a maximum period of six months if it is found to have committed the following acts:-
(a) If a passenger-carrying public vehicle carries on traffic contrary to section 102 of the Act,
(b) if the passenger public vehicle carries goods (other than passenger baggage) and the goods vehicle carries passengers,
(c) If a public vehicle is driven without obtaining a road license in accordance with section 75 of the Act,
(d) If a passenger-carrying public vehicle carries out transport contrary to section 104 of the Act,
(e) If the tourist vehicle carries passengers other than tourists,
(f) If a private vehicle is used for transport services contrary to sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Act.
